The Tech Therapy Couch: Let's put the "M" back in MVP!

Acronyms are amazing little creatures with the power to communicate complex ideas quickly and simply. That is, of course, if you actually know what the acronym means.

MVP stands for "minimum viable product", and it's the most important strategy for getting to market quickly and showing viability in your business. But everyone likes to toss out the "minimum" part far too quickly.

Building the smallest, most concise product you possibly can will not only save you time and money, but you'll have the opportunity to build more features later when customers actually ASK for them. And then you can charge for what they are asking you for! It's much simpler to charge more in the future for new features than to ask users to pay more up front for a bunch of stuff they don't need or want.

Say it with me... M-v-p! M-v-p!
